Sherri Dunlap has been in the Industry for 30-plus years. She has owned two salons in the Clemson area. She is a Redken specialist. She trained with Paul Mitchell as a color educator. She has traveled throughout the Southeast training stylists in hair color. She has been a Cosmetology Instructor for the past seven years. She has taught at several schools in the upstate training future stylists.
She has worked at Charlotte Fashion Week, Greenville Fashion Week, Night To Shine, and Costume Drama in Asheville NC.
She is the co-owner of Upstate Hair Skin and Nails. She enjoys teaching Continuing Ed to fellow stylists.
She has worked as a makeup artist and stylist in the bridal industry creating special event hair and makeup. She also specializes in SpecialFx makeup.
She has worked in Community Theater for the past 25 years.
Her TV credits include Monday Nigh Nitro, National Geographic channel Doomsday Preppers, and other training videos.
She has a passion for the Beauty Industry and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.
She still works behind the chair and loves making people feel beautiful.
Before venturing into the hair world. Lynn worked as a Registered Nurse and also volunteered her time as a Parish Nurse in the faith community. She also has been involved as an Entrepreneur with Direct Sales Companies as well as online retail sales. Lynn is blessed with an amazing family as well as a large extended family that helps to fill her world with love. She is involved with Pickens County Shelter of Hope. Her involvement with Upstate College Of Cosmetology opened the door for her to form a partnership in Upstate Hair Skin and Nails in 2016. She still works part-time as an RN for Dr. William Scott, A laser tech, Lasers by Lynn, and volunteers her time as a Parish Nurse while helping 4 amazing businesses succeed.
